As you probably know, I’m a bit of a film nut. I try and get to the cinema as often as I can as there is nothing quite like the drama, thrill and sense of adventure of seeing a film on a huge screen with immense sound.
For me the next best thing about watching films is talking about them. My close friends and unlucky recipients of many an ear bashing will testify to this.
Putting the Film World to Rights
Some of us were sinking a few pints in the local recently and nattering about the wooden performance of popstar Rihanna in Battleship (she should stick to singing) and I thought it would be great to share our musings on films with you lot.
So, each month I’ll be putting the film world to rights with some short and snappy reviews of the films we have seen. Chances are you’ll soon realise how little we know about films!
However, the beauty of films is that they are usually judged purely on opinion; one person’s Shawshank Redemption is another person’s Fast and Furious. Robert and I are quite open-minded and diverse in our film tastes.
